Mary Piper, CHC & Director of Fitness
Mary was born and raised in New Orleans. She moved to Mandeville in 1984 and has been on the Northshore ever since. The owner and publisher Louisiana’s Health & Fitness Magazine for 18 years, Mary has always been obsessed with health and fitness. After selling the magazine in 2016, she decided to pursue certifications as a health coach and personal trainer, as well as certifications in TRX and Pop Pilates. Mary loves motivating and educating people on living a healthy lifestyle through eating whole foods and exercising, and offers one-on–one personal training and small group training. She teaches all levels of fitness, from the novice to the experienced. In addition to teaching Circuit, Sculpt, and TRX throughout the week, she is the administrator for the Beau Chêne Fitness Facebook group, sharing healthy recipes, tips, challenges, and general health and fitness facts. Tara Condon, Group Fitness Instructor
Tara Condon fell in love with yoga in 2013 when she began practicing regularly and experienced the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of the yoga practice. She completed a 225 hour instructor training in the spring of 2016, becoming a Registered Holy Yoga Instructor. In July, 2017 Tara completed 300 more hours of training to become Masters Level Holy Yoga Instructor. Tara considers herself a lifelong student of yoga, and is passionate about bringing yoga to people of all ages and levels of physical fitness. Lorraine Beaver, Group Fitness Instructor
Lorraine's fitness career began in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she met her husband of 34 years, Don. Once she started teaching "hardcore" aerobics, she was hooked and has continued to expand her knowledge, growth and experience into many forms of exercise. She strives to share her enthusiasm with others and make each class challenging and fun for beginners to advanced fitness members. Stephanie Peterson, Group Fitness Instructor
Stephanie been practicing yoga for years and was inspired to share her love of yoga with others. She recently obtained her 200 hour RYT certification, specializing in Power Yoga/Vinyassa style. Sharon is an avid runner, having just completed her 6th full marathon, and enjoys playing tennis. She teaches Power Yoga classes twice a week at Beau Chêne Fitness Center. - Julie Plaisance, Group Fitness Instructor
Julie Plaisance has been certified in Les Mills programs since 2009, instructing BodyCombat, Cxworx, BodyPump classes in addition to Kettlebell classes. She is also an ISSA certified Personal Trainer. She loves to share her passion of health and fitness with others.

- Katie Lee Hughes, Group Fitness Instructor
Katie began practicing Yoga at the age of 13 and Zumba at the age of 14.
At 17, Katie was licensed to teach Zumba. Since then she has earned AFFA Certification (Group Exercise) and USWFA Certification (Water Aerobics). She has also completed AFAA trainings in Yoga and Pilates. She enjoys teaching Zumba Gold, a low impact, dance-style class and Aqua Fitness. Students always enjoy great music in Katie’s classes.
