Beau Chêne was born from the shared vision of successful New Orleans developers Morgan Earnest and Lester Kabacoff, who dreamed of creating a community where natural beauty and exceptional living could thrive side by side. In 1972, they found the perfect setting — a stunning stretch of land in St. Tammany Parish, just across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans — and began transforming that dream into reality.
Today, Beau Chêne is home to more than 1,500 single-family residences and villas, each thoughtfully designed to embrace its surroundings with views of golf courses, greenbelts, lakes, and the scenic Tchefuncte River.
